Thank goodness for the 4-year warranty. Surprisingly, this is the first malfunctioning part in two years of ownership. Alas, another trip to the dealer is necessary.

The new bmws don’t tell you though the cluster anymore right? Well at least its not in bold letters like CHECK SIDE LAMPS or STOP ENGINE.

No worries, I was thinking a wiring fault or some such from your description! :P

Ahahaha! But why not spend an hour at the dealer waiting for something you can do in 5 minutes? That's the spirit!

it would but I don't have parking lamps. It was a main light, so I changed it quickly, as I believe police will pull you over for having a main low beam that is out

but why doesn’t the BMW tell you when the turn signals don’t work, or do they not come equipped with them?

Technically, they’re optional equipment. As in they come with the car but it’s your choice if you want to use them or not
